The Principals

Dick & Shirlene Robbins
Best friends for 32 years, Dick & Shirlene are always looking to share new adventures. Dick sold his old dirt bike 27 years ago when he learned that Shirlene was expecting their first child. He didn't get the bug again until their kids were grown and gone. Shirlene came home from work one day after a friend had given her a short ride on his new Harley. "You know, my heels aren't dug in quite as firm as they used to be about motorcycles!" That was all Dick needed to hear.

For Father's day, 2002, Dick got a 1200cc HD Custom Sportster. Knowing that Shirlene really wouldn't want to ride very often, he felt the Sportster would be just the bike for him. As the summer passed though, Shirlene was enjoying the ride more and more. For their anniversary that September, Dick & Shirlene welcomed a 2003 HD Softail Deuce to their family. It has been the three of them ever since.

Tom & Louise Andersen
Tom and Louise have been married for 40 years. Tom has always been interested in cars and bikes. His need for speed has taken him to driving dragsters. Tom is one of the few people who has crashed while traveling 245 mph and is still around to talk about it. While his dragster driving days are behind him, he still has strong feelings for motorcycles. After selling his trusty Norton, Tom had a 30 year dry spell. It wasn't until the Christmas of 2001 that his son ordered him a new 2002 HD Softail. That was the good news... the bad news was that Tom had to pay for it.

Today Tom is retired and you can find him riding his Harley up & down Hwy 101. You'll probably see Louise on back... that is when she is not riding her horse. Maybe 4 legs are just a stepping stone to 2 wheels. Anyway it is always easy to recognize Tom & Louise... they are the ones with the biggest smiles and enjoying life to the fullest.
