It is not what we were hoping for. We have been hit with rain and hail storms today. It is cold and tomorrow we are supposed to start the three longest days of the trip. The Pony Express route continues out of Salt Lake City and heads into the high country of the Wyoming district. We have to admit we are more than a bit nervous about the prospects of hitting snow and winter conditions. But that's tomorrow, today is Sunday and a time we can spend quietly with family. In preparation for Memorial Day, we visited our family's grave sites and decorated them.

It was a wonderful surprise today, Dick's two cousins and their wives came to visit. We haven't seen Tom and Linda Turpin or Ivan and Darlene Turpin for many years. They stopped by to see Millie and Clyde, unaware that we were here too. It was a fun reunion.
